Hi, I'm Pita!

they/them · Oakland, CA

I specialize in helping neurodivergent, queer & trans, and disabled folks create a fulfilling, sustainable life that actually affirms who they are.

Who am I?

I'm a non-binary, AuDHD life coach based in Oakland, CA, with a garnish of OCD and complex trauma. All of my work is currently online though, so I can work with clients based anywhere!

I unapologetically own my queerness, autism, ADHD, and trans identity.

In early '25, I adopted my wonderful husky Madison! Caring for her has transformed my own self-care, and she yells at me if I spend too long working or lazing about.

I used to not know what happiness felt like, but after doing a lot of intensive work, I do now. I've always loved helping people, and it's only after having done this work that I'm able to give of myself without giving myself away.

I care deeply about making my work as accessible as possible, both financially and through intentionally adding accommodations for my neurodivergent and disabled clients. Just like the cut-curb effect, building an accessible practice makes me a better coach for all of my clients.

I show up for others with kindness, compassion, and empathy, practicing the platinum rule of treating others the way they want to be treated.

Why trust me?

I approach my clients with empathy and compassion, and take a trauma-informed approach in my work.

I've lived through a lot: coming to terms with my queerness and AuDHD, learning how to stop hiding, and working though my OCD, complex trauma, depression, and severe anxiety. I've often experienced firsthand what my clients bring to sessions.

I've done a lot of intensive therapy, and have extensive knowledge about effective tools from many different modalities. I'm not a therapist, so I can't process difficult emotions with you, but I do pull in a variety of skills and tools that I've found genuinely helpful.

I am actively building my formal training in ethics, cultural and racial competence, neurodivergence, and executive dysfunction. While my lived experience gives me a strong foundation, adding formal training helps me to build on it.

I am also a software engineer and sometimes build custom tools for use in our work together!
